Welcome to Bad Münder and welcome to the Minigolf World Championships 2012/2013 in Germany!
Located between Hannover and Hameln in the heart of the Weserbergland, Bad Münder has a long and diverse history and is known for thermal springs and its glass and furniture production. Today Bad Münder’s springs are used for therapeutical purposes in the Kurmittelhaus (a therapeutical centre) near the central Kur- und Landschaftspark (Spa and Country Park).
Besides the thermal springs and the Kurpark, Bad Münder offers several half-timbered houses and buildings designed and built in the Weser renaissance style, which is unique to the river Weser region, in its historic city centre. Take a walk through the town following the Söltjerweg (salter path) or book a guided tour to discover Bad Münder and its heritage.
